Expanding My Business

Well, is certainly proving to be a fantastic foundation for my business. I am busier than ever before with new clients and projects. Lately I've been shooting a LOT more real estate photography which has proven to be somewhat of a challenge. Why you may ask? There is certainly a lot more editing involved, especially behind every great real estate photo. You can expect to not only strobe individual parts of the room / scene, but you can certainly expect to mask 15+ layers for a single photo. Crazy, right? It's been fascinating watching tutorials, and learning from the masters of the trade.

Other than real estate photography, weddings have been keeping me rather busy as well. Last 3 weeks have been action packed with weddings... including one on the west side of the state, and let me tell you, Vietnamese weddings have some GREAT food! Although I'm been keeping busy, it's unfortunate that I haven't been photographing much else -- not sure if that's a good thing or not, but my business has been thriving, and I am very thankful for that.

Today, I finally added a new lens to the lineup, this one is geared more towards what I'd like to start doing a lot more of: PORTRAITS! In the past, portraiture hasn't really given me the income that some of the other genres have given me, but I'm definitely looking to turn that around. I absolutely LOVE working with people, it's my passion and drive to create a portrait that displays someone's character, personality, beauty, and emotion. It's a moment in time that their family and friends can cherish for years to come. So without further adieu, please welcome the majestic Canon 135mm f2L! For those of you looking for headshots, family photos, engagement photos, and any other portraits, you'll get to see why I chose to add this lens to the lineup.

The last few weeks, I've been building my website (about time, right?) Even though it still needs a little bit of work, I am finally ready to launch the site, and have the ability to display my portfolio. Working several jobs at once doesn't leave me much time for personal business growth, which is why it has taken me so long to devote the time to build something that represents my passion for photography. Now that the site is LIVE, I am excited to show YOU what I've been up to, and give you a little taste of my work. Please feel free to share this website with your friends, family, and anyone looking for a photographer. As some of you already know, I specialize in fashion, weddings, and automotive photography, but have had experience in just about every genre. Take the time to browse the site and let me know what you think! Thank you everyone!
